How Fond of Here Works

• Saving a place: Sign in with Apple or Google, then tap Save this place while standing somewhere you want to remember. Fond of Here captures your current GPS coordinates and saves the location to your private collection.
• Adding memories: You can add a name, a story or note, and up to 3 photos right after saving or anytime later from the Memories tab.
• Finding your way back: Open any saved place in Memories (Timeline or Map view) and choose Apple Maps, Google Maps, or Waze for directions back to those exact coordinates.

Common Troubleshooting

• Location permission on iPhone: Open iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → Fond of Here, select While Using the App, and turn on Precise Location for the most accurate pin placement.
• Low GPS accuracy indoors: If GPS accuracy is coarser than 10 meters, step outdoors with a clear view of the sky or tap Extend Wait (10s) / Save Anyway when prompted.
• Offline saves: If your connection drops while saving a place, the captured coordinates are held on your device for up to 3 days so you can tap Retry save once back online.

Account Management & Deletion

To sign out, manage optional usage analytics, export your saved places (on the web), or permanently delete your account and all associated places and photos, tap Account in the top-right corner of the app.
